ProGlove´s Solution for Logistics

DB Schenker has integrated a “pick-by-vision” solution created by Picavi and ProGlove. Workers are now more mobile – no need to return to a central terminal for orders. And they have both hands free to operate forklifts and handle materials. For the back office, the solution interfaces directly with management systems for seamless workflows.

DB Schenker needed to overcome two major challenges: on one hand, preventing stationary scanners to restrict operations related to warehouse logistics, such as incoming or outgoing products and storage; on the other hand, reducing picking errors, which could not be prevented by the use of conventional scanners.

Since DB Schenker has deployed ProGlove technology, workers have their hands free to pick up items.
