ProGlove has always been about finding solutions. That’s even more true now that the pandemic restricts our options. But we embrace these challenges, because that’s what underpins our success.
Trade shows are currently not an option. That’s why the ProGlove team is now on the road throughout Europe with the MARK On Wheels truck. On site, we talk to customers and partners. We show our solutions and get a picture of the situation. The tour started in France. Next, we are on the road in the Netherlands. Our new industry analytics solution Insight is certainly a focal point of the talks. It is attracting a lot of interest.
ProGlove provides an answer to a common dilemma
Insight is ProGlove’s answer to a common dilemma: Many organizations manage their warehouses and shop floors by means of a top-down perspective. In doing so, however, they are giving away important efficiency potential. They also place an unnecessary burden on their employees. Insight creates a bottom-up view. Customers can use this solution as a supplement, but also as a stand-alone product. Our very own Ilhan Kolko talked to Courier News about this.
BLE-based solutions are in demand
Listening is always key concern at ProGlove. That’s why we find that the industry is increasingly demanding simple solutions to resolve real challenges. Therefore, the need for BLE-based scanner solutions is increasing, especially in warehouses and logistics. We have responded to this demand with MARK Basic SR. This scanner addresses the needs of companies whose focus is on scanning within short distances. This is especially the case for outbound processes such as packaging, retail inventory and assembly processes. The new MARK Basic SR processes 1D and 2D barcodes. It also manages up to 5,000 scans per load and enables a scanning range of 10 to 80 cm. Logistics voices underlines this in their reporting.
ProGlove relies on partnerships
For ProGlove, providing the right solutions is always a question of the right partnership. That’s why we cooperate with Ivanti Wavelink, for example. Together we provide a solution. The bundle allows companies to modernize their legacy warehouse management systems. As part of that, they can use Velocity to integrate the MARK display scanner directly into their existing warehouse management system. Hermes Fulfilment is the first customer to benefit from this partnership. Industry Today covers our partnership with Ivanti Wavelink.
But of course, we do not only work with technology partners. We always seek contact with sales partners, too. We have compiled further information on our partnership models on our partner page.
